Design Application Engineer – Electrical

Due to our growth, we are currently looking for a Design Application Engineer – Electrical.

Job Description

• Support new projects during design phase
• Willing to go in-depth in the electrical challenges of developing, designing, building and testing electrical cabinets, interfaces, cable trees, etc.
• Support the standardization of cabling for new product and standard production
• Make Electrical drawings related to the projects (Modelling and drawings in E-Plan)
• Willing to learn CAD to make 3D modelling and 2D drawings
• Request quotations from suppliers with focus on feasibility, cost and lead time
• Follow up Suppliers and components production
• Managing and maintaining administration about BOM and Planning support
• Strong ability to work as a team to ensure quality and respecting of the budget and delivery of our products

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree Electrical or experience in such role
• Experience of minimum 3 years in machine building company
• Strong communicative skills and fluent in Dutch and English
• Proved knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D drawing (preferable in Inventor) (Knowledge of 3D CAD software is and asset.)
• Proved Knowledge of electronics or willing to learn
